In 1998, Rev. Wallace and a group of nine believers gathered together for prayer and fasting in her home to seek God's direction for our lives. At the end of the sessions of prayer, Rev. Wallace sensed the leading of the Lord to start a ministry under the name VICTORY TABERNACLE OF PRAISE.
We began to have services in the basement of one of our couple's home. After a few months we realized that the space for worship and prayer was too small. We began to rent space from other churches where we held afternoon services. After a few months we felt we needed a more suitable place whereby we can have morning and afternoon services, host our church events and other activities which involved the kids. After much prayer and perseverance and financial contributions from our members, we were able to find a suitable place to congregate. In spite of all the trials and tribulations, we can truly say we have come this far by faith, leaning on the Lord and extensive prayer.
